To really see

It’s possible to look without seeing.

We’re mesmerized by the natural beauty of old growths, a symmetrical face, sunsets. We continue to stand in awe at their grandeur. For they are, in a way, evidently beautiful.

However, something that far surpasses that form of beauty, is that of another human person. Especially so, through the eyes of love - and here I don’t mean infatuation.

In hope and full recognition that in and through love, we are transformed into who we are as individuals. We don’t lose ourselves.

Love opens the eyes of our soul, and allows us to see. Really see, and not merely stop at looking.
