It’s naive to think that human nature has changed or evolved because we live in a time of technology, awareness days for every social issue, disease or animal. 

Has any of my actions coincided negatively with someone else? Have I desired something or some that wasn’t mine - to the point of taking? 

With all that’s going on in this country and  world, the only way for harmony to take root is if we examine ourselves and at least entertain an idea of virtue.

And unfortunately it takes more than printing banners that say #spreadkindness. 

Otherwise, we cannot be surprised at invasions, or broken relationships, or suffering in general. 

This stuff has to start with examining ourselves, our conscience. My self, my conscience.
