Enough to Ease

The number of trips I’ve made to this city are now countless. Many many years ago, I had made a point to visit this café, but each weekend trip since pulled me into another direction. I never even saw it or knew where it was.

My last visit two weekends ago, I was in a cab, after a very futile, stupid and short 20 hour visit. I was quite annoyed in the cab, until I drove past this café.

It immediately took me back to my younger self wandering through the winter streets of Montreal alone but filled with happiness.

The bit of magic the snow creates on beautiful architecture.

The gentleness of large snowflakes falling on your face.

The moment I pinned the location of the café on my phone after spending time in dialogue and calming my faculties while visiting the english Basilica of the city.

Another time, but enough to bring me back to my present. Enough to ease my upset heart.
