Don’t bail

I was out with someone the other week. After telling me about their long and hard work day, and aware that they made a good 30 min drive to meet up, I said “You know, we could have rescheduled.”

Their response was “No way. Christine, I do not bail.”

I reflected on that (naturally) days following. My respect for this person certainly increased.
