Beauty

In the beginning, Beauty, in her greatness, sought to go outward.

She disguised herself in Art.

Beauty whispered on pages of written ideation, contemplation and storytelling.

Beauty stained canvases with colours of vast contrast.

Beauty harmonized with sound, impregnating the ears of man with docile notes with wings to soar.

Beauty invigorated limbs, conceiving graceful movements.

Beauty animated the person-ality of man, mirroring man’s inner self.

It was there, on pages of written ideation, stained canvases of invigorating colour, in harmonies of sound, animated limbs and energized acting, where Beauty ruled.

She disguised herself in Man.

Beauty was evident in Man’s physical beauty, and virtue.

In his strength, confidence, and humility, did She attract.

The simplicity of an act of kindness, of intentionality, keenness.

Beauty drew in, and unwavered, always single-minded.

No deceit, pure invitation. Peace.

She ruled and remained, night and day.

She did not sleep and kept watch over all.

She saw that man was protected.

She hoped that one day man would discover Her.
