A Grave Tragedy

It is a grave tragedy when we “eliminate” another human person out of our life because they think differently than us.

Who do we think we are? While, some instances are warranted (like in unsafe situations), who are we to ostracize another fellow person?

We’re the same ones who are sensitive to conflict in the world, away from us. Or fiercely moved by real injustice on a larger scale, aching to help. We’re surprised that people “out there” are still being discriminated against. And that somehow we should be “better than that by now”.

But we, ourselves, can’t offer or maintain our hand of friendship to someone who disagrees or thinks differently.

Why is that? What we all need to do is actually all just go home and love our family + friends.

In true charity and goodness.
