The flowers photographed were traumatized, they started to die the moment they were cut. They were in bloom for some time, until they dried up, and left this. 

However, while the event dramatically created a fissure in their lives, changing them permanently, they continued to radiate a different Beauty. 

And it remains very much life-giving.
